I have a 17-year-old client who started coming to my weekend boot camp about two months ago, and his mom just bought him private training. He’s really shy and self-conscious, so he kind of gets this deer-in-the-headlights look when I put him on the spot. I don’t want to yell at him when he’s not meeting his full potential because he’s easily discouraged and I’m a mama bear. So, instead, when he’s slacking off or telling me he can’t do something, I tell him to try again and yell, “SHARK BAIT, OOH HA HA!” It always works.
